Shaftesbury Grammar School in the 1930’s Cricket and Football

I find these old school photographs from between the two great 20th century wars very poignant but a little more-so post-Brexit.
I have no way of knowing, but I guess that 10 years on from 1934 and 1935 many of these boys would be killed or wounded fighting an anti-Fascist war in Europe.
I hope we won’t see those days again.
